Website Access & Data Policy
How we connect to your store to do your work — and the commitments we make about your data.
How we connect to your store
To perform the work you purchase — building and editing pages, improving SEO, adding structured data, and running your visibility reports — we need access to your Shopify store. We set this up one of two ways: a limited collaborator invitation, or an Admin API connection (a private app and secure access key that you create or approve).
What an Admin API connection allows
An Admin API connection is, by design, broad. It technically grants our tools — including the AI tools we use to carry out the work — access to your complete store, which can include your products, pages, themes, content and store data. This full level of access is what makes it possible for us to do the work across your entire site rather than one page at a time.
What we actually do with that access
We use the access only to perform the work you have purchased, and to read the public performance signals your site already produces — what is indexed, how you rank, and your visibility in Google and AI answers. We do not sell, export, or use your customers, your orders, or your private business information for any purpose other than doing your work.
You stay in control
You choose how to grant access, you can see exactly what you granted, and you can remove our access at any time — by removing the collaborator, or by deleting the private app or API key in your Shopify admin. We remove our own access when your work is complete. You are responsible for keeping any access keys you generate secure. If you have questions before granting access, contact us first.
