What are the Share and Ask AI tools?
They are two features we build into a website as one panel. Share lets a visitor pass your page along in one tap: by link, email, text, a social network or a messaging app. Ask AI lets a visitor send a ready-made question about your business to an AI assistant, with a line telling the assistant to use your website as its source. More people now ask an AI before they call or book, so the panel meets them in the assistants they already use and points those assistants back to your own pages.
Why build them into a Shopify website?
Because the panel works best when it is part of a fast, secure, well-structured site, and Shopify gives us exactly that. The panel is built into your Shopify site, so it loads with your pages, works on phones, matches your brand, and the standard panel needs no separate service for you to manage. The optional AI chat tiers use outside services, explained below. Shopify hosts the site, keeps it secure and scales from a five-page website to a full online store, and your site lives in a Shopify account you own. If you also sell products, the same Shopify account can connect to places such as Instagram and Facebook Shops, TikTok Shop, Google, Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify POS. What can visitors do with the Share panel?
On our own FAQ page, the Share or ask an AI button opens a panel in three groups. It is a good example of what we build for clients.
- Post or send: the device share sheet, Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, Bluesky, email and copy link.
- Message a friend: WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram and text message.
- Send to an AI chat: our own AIWD chat, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Copilot.
A note under the panel covers Instagram and TikTok, which do not accept links the same way: copy the link and add it to your story, bio or message. This panel is the full version on our own site. The standard Ask AI + Share install includes the question picker, buttons for ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity, and a Share row with copy link, email, text and Facebook. Super Chat adds Claude and Copilot, and extra share networks or assistants are priced by scope.
How does Ask AI work, step by step?
- The visitor picks a question or types one, depending on the tier you choose.
- They tap an assistant button. The assistant opens in a new tab with the question ready to send, and a line asking it to use only your website as its source.
- Some assistants cannot take a ready-made question in a link, such as Gemini and Copilot on our panel. For those, the question is copied so the visitor can paste it.
- The answer comes from the outside assistant, not from us, and it can differ from one asking to the next.
A good answer depends on a good site. Clear pages with real prices, hours, services and policies give an assistant something accurate to quote. That is why we build the panel on top of pages that are written answer-first, with FAQ sections, as in our own FAQ.
Which option fits your business?
We offer four steps, from a simple panel to a full chat. Prices below are for new clients and for AI Website Design clients, as one-time setup fees. All of them take a 50% deposit at checkout.

How can you save money on chat and Ask AI?
- Buy the package, not the pieces. A Smart Chat Box ($292) plus Ask AI and Share ($299) comes to $591 separately for a new client. The AI Chat + Ask AI Package is $549 and adds a true AI chat panel in place of a quick-reply box.
- Use the AI Website Design client price. It applies when we build your site, so adding the setup to a website plan lowers each of these prices. The Website Development Tool shows the difference as you build.
- Match the tier to the need. If visitors only need a question picker and buttons, the $299 option is enough. Move to the package or Super Chat when you want a chat that answers on your site.
- Use the 50% deposit. It does not lower the total, but it halves what you pay today. Packages and memberships are not refundable, so check the scope first.
What should you know about the outside AI services?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Copilot, website hosting services and any chat widget or AI model are independent services that we do not own or control. They can change their terms, features, links, availability or pricing at any time, and their answers can vary. Any paid plan, account or usage fee from those providers is the customer's cost, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We cannot promise rankings, mentions or leads.

Will this make ChatGPT or Google recommend my business?
We cannot promise that. The panel makes it easy for visitors to ask an AI about you, and the question points the assistant at your own pages, so your site needs clear, accurate content to work from. Answers come from independent services and can differ from one asking to the next. No rankings, mentions or leads are guaranteed.
Do I pay a monthly fee?
Not to us for the standard Ask AI + Share setup, which is a one-time fee. The AI buttons open each assistant on its public website, and what visitors see depends on that service. If you add an on-site AI chat, outside hosting and AI usage can be billed by those providers, which we explain in the quote. Your Shopify plan and domain are billed separately.
