Why it is a good idea

More people now ask an AI before they call or book. A built-in section meets them there: it hands the assistant a clear question about your business, points it at your own pages, and gives happy visitors an easy way to pass your page along. It also shows you the questions worth answering well on your site. It works best when your pages are clear and accurate, and we cannot promise any ranking, mention or lead.

What is included and what is quoted

• Included in the standard install: the Ask AI band, question picker, AI buttons and Share row, themed to your site, with your questions and facts
• Priced by scope: an on-site chat agent that answers from your site, an optional "Email me this chat" button for logged-in customers, extra share networks, a long custom question list, or more than one site. Not included in a base website build

What is the Ask AI + Share agent setup?

It is a section we build into your website that lets visitors ask ChatGPT, Google AI Mode or Perplexity a question about your business with one tap, and share your page by link, email, text or Facebook. Each AI button opens with a ready question that tells the assistant to use only your website as its source. It is a one-time setup, and the section belongs to your site.

How is the setup priced?

The standard install is $299 for new clients and $209 for AI Website Design clients, as a one-time fee. That covers the Ask AI band, the question picker, the AI buttons and the Share row, themed to your site. Connecting an on-site chat agent, adding extra share networks or writing a long custom question list is priced by scope, and David confirms the quote before work starts. It is not included in a base website build.

Can I pay 50% down?

Yes. Choose the 50% deposit option at checkout to pay half today. The remaining half is invoiced when the work is complete, and David confirms the timing for your project. You can also pay in full. Memberships and monthly plans are different: they are paid at the full monthly price at checkout.

Will this make ChatGPT or Google recommend my business?

We cannot promise that. The section makes it easy for your visitors to ask an AI about you, and the question tells the assistant to rely on your own pages, so your site needs clear, accurate content to work from. Answers come from independent services, they can differ from one asking to the next, and no rankings, mentions or leads are guaranteed.

Are ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and the chat agent part of your service?

No. ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, our website hosting services, email-sending services and any chat widget are independent services that we do not own or control. They can change their terms, features, links, availability or pricing at any time, and answers may vary. Any paid plan or usage fee from those providers is the customer's own cost. We install the links and the section on your site, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers.

Do I pay a monthly fee for the Ask AI section?

Not to us for the standard install, which is a one-time fee. The AI buttons simply open each assistant's public website, and what visitors see depends on that service and their own account. If you choose an on-site chat agent, the hosting, AI or email-sending usage it needs is billed by those providers, which we explain in the quote. Your Shopify plan and domain are billed separately, as for any site.

Can visitors email themselves a copy of the chat?

Yes, with the optional on-site chat agent. When a visitor is logged in to a customer account on your Shopify site, the chat shows an Email me this chat button that sends the conversation to that customer's own account email, and only to that address. Guests see a note to log in instead. It is protected with a signed login check and sending limits. It needs customer accounts turned on, an email-sending service and a verified sending domain, and it is priced by scope with the chat agent, not included in the standard install. You can try it by logging in to a customer account on this site and using the chat.
